Communication Preferences

Clients of American Century Investments® have the option to select how they want to receive required communications. Please see below for information about each option:

Clients with Mutual Funds

All Electronic (Recommended)

  • Electronic: Annual Statements, all other statements, transaction confirmations1, and all other required documents3

  • Note: When selecting this option, account maintenance fees will be waived.

Annual account statement in paper

  • Paper: Annual Statements

  • Electronic: All other statements, transaction confirmations1, and all other required documents2

Clients with Brokerage Accounts

To update your Communication Preferences for your Brokerage account, please select your Brokerage account from the Accounts tab. Once on your Brokerage account, navigate to the Communications tab to make updates.

Clients with Private Client Group Accounts

To update your Communication Preferences for your Private Client Group account, please contact your Service Team.

eCommunication Terms and Conditions

Clients with Mutual Funds and/or Workplace Retirement Plans who elect All Electronic, please see the eCommunication Agreement below:

  • You consent to electronic rather than regular mail delivery of documents from American Century Investments.

  • You have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of the eCommunication service as presented in the

    eCommunication Agreement.

  • You will maintain a valid email address and continue to have access to the Internet as long as you participate in this service.

  • You will immediately notify American Century Investments of any changes to your email address.

  • You have the ability to access PDF documents.
